  Using your RUDN corporate email login and password.

• How to connect to RUDN WiFi?

  RUDN operates a unified Wi-Fi network called "RUDN". Log in using your RUDN corporate email credentials. . In specific buildings, such as at 3 Ordzhonikidze St. and 8/5 Podolskoye Shosse St., the network is called "sci-pfu" without a password.

• I forgot something in the library, what should I do?

• What is RUDN Digital Library (ЭБС РУДН)?

  It is an Electronic Library System and database containing information about the print collection of the scientific library, full texts of textbooks and other RUDN publications.

  With RUDN Digital Library, you can search for and read electronic versions of publications, select and order printed books and dissertations, and track return deadlines in your personal account.

• How to find the electronic version of a book in RUDN Digital Library?

  In simple or advanaced search, check the box labeled "digital".

• How to distinguish between an article and a book based on the description?

  

• How to borrow a printed book from the library collection?

  1. Log in to RUDN Digital Library: login: your surname (If your surname consists of two words, Your login will be only the first word), password : full student ID number.
  2. Use the search function to find the book.
  3. Click "select for order", then "select".

     

     If there are multiple copies available, you can take the book home. If there's only one copy, you need to return it on the same day. Note that if the book is available in electronic format, there will be a link indicating so.
  4. In your personal account, go to "selected books" and click "order".
     

     

  5. Your book order will be completed the next day
  6. Pick up the book the next day at the library of your faculty/institute/academy.

• Can I borrow literature from the main building library if the book is not available in my department's library?

  Yes.

• What is a book code?

  It's the address of the book in our collection.

• Where can I see which books are registered under my name?

  In your personal account in RUDN Digital Library, under the "borrowed books" section.

• What if I fail to return a book on time?

  The administration reserves the right to deny access to library resources, both print and electronic, for a period of 1 to 6 months.

• What if I lose or damage a book?

  Compensate for the loss or damage according to our terms of use.

• Can I buy a book from the library?

  No, our books are university property and not for sale.

• What should I do if there aren't enough textbooks for my group in the library?

  Check for the electronic version of the textbook in RUDN Digital Library.

• Can I request a literature selection on a specific topic?
