Rationality and Irrationality in the Modern World

We are pleased to announce the opening of the discussion club "Scientific Conversations in the Library," organized jointly by the RUDN Scientific Library and the student scientific club "Σοφία" (Comparative Philosophical Rossieviedenie).

Our first meeting will take place on December 10th with the topic: "Rationality and Irrationality in the Modern World".

During the meeting, we will discuss:

• How rational and irrational approaches influence decision-making in personal and public life
• Current philosophical concepts of rationalism and irrationalism
• Rational and irrational practices in modern intellectual culture

The format of the meeting is a free-flowing discussion. No special preparation required!
