Olympics-80 lottery ticket in a book
Our employee Ksenia about an interesting find:
Have you ever had the feeling that you found an artifact? That happened to me once. But I'll start from the very beginning. I had just started working at the library and discovered shelves with fiction. I was attracted by N. Ostrovsky's novel "How the Steel Was Tempered". I leafed through it, read the summary. And saw a lottery ticket issued with the symbols of the 1980 Olympics. Historically, the Olympic theme has always been around me. I have a very warm attitude towards the Olympic Games, and I watch videos from the 1980 Olympics with tears in my eyes. For me, this find is a touch with the past. It became the first item in my collection of "library finds".

As it turns out, unusual finds in books are not uncommon for librarians. We often find the most unexpected things between the pages: banknotes, photographs, concert tickets, and even personal notes. These "bookmarks" sometimes become real artifacts that reflect the lives and interests of readers. Therefore, before returning a book to the library, do not forget to check its contents. Perhaps you accidentally left something important that could become part of someone's "found" collection or simply get lost.
