Scientific Library: secrets of the foundation

Moscow school students delved into the mysteries of of the book depository and explored the collection of rare books at the scientific library

On September 8th, students from grades 9-11 visited the RUDN library as part of the "Pathway to RUDN" event. During the excursion "Secrets of the book depository," the students discovered the intricacies of book storage, the life-saving power of fictional literature, and uncovered fascinating facts about the library's layout, including the elusive 5/7 and 3/6 floors, and many other interesting facts.

In the "Rare Book Collection" museum, students saw the first edition of "Vasily Terkin" by Aleksandr Tvardovsky, the posthumous edition of Alexander Pushkin, and books from the 18th-19th centuries about Moscow.
