"University Library of the Future" Section at the 2nd RUDN International Educational Forum

The section included four subsections, bringing together experts from Russia and Belarus:

1. "Smart Library" — about digitalization, data integration, and new reading patterns.
2. "Open Science" — about infrastructure, the transformation of the role of libraries, and the development of scholarly communications.
3. "Library Laboratory: Ideas, Experiments, Practice" — where successful projects and innovative solutions were shared.
4. "Commonwealth" — about professional interaction and a view of the library community through the eyes of young professionals.

Key findings of the section:

• Today's libraries are not only a resource center, but also the core of scholarly communications, an organizer and conductor of knowledge. Routine operations are being replaced by intelligent systems that expand the capabilities of information support.
• The main task of the librarian of the future is to train users in the tools of the digital environment and foster a new culture of working with information.
• A modern library is a center of gravity for science, education, and culture, a space for dialogue and development.
