RUDN World Carnet

"RUDN World Carnet" – is a wonderful event, that took place in RUDN a week ago.

 

 

As a part of a programme, Moscow middle and high school children had a unique opportunity to visit three locations of the RUDN Scientific library to plunge into the fascinating world of science, culture and creativity.

 

 

The library storage place was the first experience of the participants going the quest "RUDN Intellectual Dungeon". The school students found themselves in a three-level world of riddles and mysteries, and they had to apply their knowledge and ingenuity to get out of the dungeon.

 

 

An excursion into "Rare books Collection" was the second point. The students could have seen the items stored in a separate room, with their own eyes. They enjoyed a unique opportunity to feel the history of books and culture and to understand evolutionary processes in literature and art.

 

 

The third library zone was devoted to manga fans – with a workshop from the "RUDN Library Comics School". The participants were involved in the fascinating process of creating their own comics, that enhanced their creative abilities for sure.

 

 

"RUDN World Carnet" is an exciting project for 8-11 grades students. Due to this matter of a new custom, RUDN has an opportunity to introduce university life to the next generation and to inspire it for knowledge and creativity, all that for the help of developing closer ties between the university and society. We are glad that the "RUDN World Carnet" enhances its popularity among students, and we are looking forward to our next encounter in library locations next year!
