"Africa: Strength of Spirit and Beauty" — in the blue coworking space at RUDN University

On February 13, the scientific library opened an exhibition that transports visitors to the warm continent

This was more than just a vernissage, but a true dialogue of cultures.

The evening's central figures were:

  • Leonid Polkovsky, who not only displayed unique paintings from his personal collection at the Tinga-Tinga School but also captivated guests with stories of his travels. Africa came alive and breathed in his stories.
  • Natalie Colalb, whose works added a contemporary touch to the exhibition, creating the perfect balance between "naive" art and deep Afro-aesthetics.

The evening was held in an open mic format: guests asked questions, debated, admired, and discussed the future of African art in Russia.

Want to recharge your batteries? Come admire the works, take vibrant photos, and find inspiration.

📍 We look forward to seeing you at: RUDN University main building, library, 2nd floor (blue coworking space). Admission is free!

We welcome your feedback in the Guest Book at the library's circulation desk.

We thank Natalie Colalb, Leonid Polkovsky, and the international association GATINGO for this cultural celebration!
