The Scientific Library invites you to the exhibition "Meeting of the Artist and the Poet. Word. Image. Interpretation"

The event, timed to coincide with International Artist's Day, was held with the support of the Scientific Library on December 5 in the new coworking space of the university's main building.

The exposition is the result of a joint project between the Philological Faculty of RUDN and the Moscow Academic Art School (MAHU).

The project is dedicated to the complex and multifaceted theme of the Great Patriotic War in the poetry of Russia and the CIS countries. Philology and linguistics students from RUDN prepared a thematic selection of poems representing a wide range of artistic interpretations of the wartime era.

Students from MAHU responded to the poetic word with a series of specially created artworks. These are not direct illustrations but independent visual interpretations formed through deep text analysis, which allowed for the creation of a meaningful space for dialogue between literature and visual arts.

The exhibition is open for visits until December 10.
